Took this photo today for my writing blog; used a black and white duplicate copy in overlay mode. I like the look of the technique.

Iridescent Clouds

Today while I'm driving the kids home from school, they kept asking if it was possible if clouds could be orange or green. I answered, "Depends on the situation," thinking that if the conditions were right, sunsets could have some wonky colors. It wasn't until we got home that I understood why they asked.

High in the sky, this is what my camera saw. I say camera as I couldn't look in the viewfinder because it was too bright.
