It’s been a while...

since I’ve posted here. Here’s a photo from this past weekend. Took this from the Ironwood Ridge HS stands at a marching band festival.

Time to Fill the Well

It's been a long time since I've been able to play with my camera and photos. I'm hopeful that can keep my plans to fill my well. Here's a good start.

Mexican Bird of Paradise, with my Lensbaby Velvet lens again. I love the soft and sharp contrasts in this lens.

Photos: Low Clouds in Tucson

This weekend's rain reminds me of the sort in Portland, Oregon: a slow steady drizzle. Not easy to capture the tiny drops, but I did catch a few low lying clouds.

Iridescent Clouds

Today while I'm driving the kids home from school, they kept asking if it was possible if clouds could be orange or green. I answered, "Depends on the situation," thinking that if the conditions were right, sunsets could have some wonky colors. It wasn't until we got home that I understood why they asked.

High in the sky, this is what my camera saw. I say camera as I couldn't look in the viewfinder because it was too bright.

Enjoy.
